The rigged marketplace of ideas (or, happy international day of education!)
Monday was International Day of Education and in keeping with my (recently established and always somewhat delayed) tradition of commemorating these incredibly pointless “days of,” I give you my unimaginatively-titled rant of the week: This International Day Should be Called, At Best, the West Being Tone-Deafly-Self-Congratulatory About How Good it is at Upholding Bad Ideas in Education. (Boom. Unimaginative, sure, but I did pack a lot in there.)
